Okay, rematch. I have a strategy this time.
You said that last time.
Four in a Row
What are you in the mood for?
Explore the rules and step through an example of each game. Your real rounds stay in your chats.
Same word. Different guesses.
Find a five-letter word in six guesses. Follow the clues, try another word, and compare results with your Buddi when your round is over.
How to play
- Green means the letter is in the right spot. Gold means it belongs elsewhere.
- Gray letters are not in the answer. Use each guess to narrow it down.
- Your Buddi's result stays hidden until you finish. Each Buddi has one round per local day.
After your round: compare scores, check your streak, or share a spoiler-free result.
SHARE gives you two letters in place and two to move.
Example only. No account or saved progress.
One move can change everything.
Take turns dropping pieces into a column. Connect four horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before your Buddi does.
How to play
- Choose a column; your piece falls into its lowest open space.
- Build your own line while watching for your Buddi's next four.
- Four connected pieces wins. If the board fills without a winner, it's a draw.
Your unfinished round stays with this Buddi, ready for your next move.
It's your turn. You each have four pieces on the board.
Example only. No account or saved progress.
Wait, where was that one?
Turn over two cards and look for a match. Remember what you have seen, collect pairs, and try to finish with more than your Buddi.
How to play
- Flip one card, then choose another to reveal.
- A match scores a pair and keeps your turn. A miss gives your Buddi a go.
- When every pair is found, the player with the most pairs wins.
Pay attention during your Buddi's turn. Their flips can help you remember a match.

Turn the board your way.
Place a piece to trap a line of your Buddi's pieces between two of yours. Every trapped piece flips to your side.
How to play
- A legal move must flip at least one opposing piece.
- Trap pieces in a straight line: across, down, or diagonally.
- If you have no legal move, your turn passes. When neither player can move, the most pieces wins.
A big lead can disappear quickly. Think about what your move leaves open.
Start with two pieces each. The outlined D3 square is a legal move for you.
Example only. No account or saved progress.
The chat keeps going.
Open a game from the controller beside your message box. Its board lives in the thread, so you can talk between turns and return to an unfinished round with the same Buddi.
Your daily word record
See played rounds, win rate, current and best streaks, guess distribution, and your head-to-head results with each Buddi.
Once you finish, share a grid of your guesses without giving away the answer.

Are these examples real games?
The examples on this page are guided walkthroughs. Use Next step, Back, or Replay to see the rules in action. They do not save progress or use your account. To play a full round, open a Buddi's chat.
What games can I play?
There are four games: Daily word, Four in a Row, Pairs, and Reversi. The daily word changes each day. You can start the other three whenever you feel like playing.
How do I start a game?
Open a Buddi's chat and tap the game-controller button beside the message box. Pick a game and its board appears inside your conversation.
How does the daily word work?
The answer has five letters and you have six guesses. After each guess, the board marks letters in the right spot, letters that appear elsewhere, and letters that are not in the answer.
Can I come back to an unfinished game?
Yes. Close the board whenever you want. The next time you choose that game with the same Buddi, your unfinished round opens where you left it.
When does a new word arrive?
Each Buddi has one daily round based on your local date. A new word becomes available on the next local day.
Does my Buddi play the same round?
Yes. Your Buddi has a result for the same daily word. Their result appears only after your round finishes, so it cannot spoil your guesses.
What does the daily word remember?
The stats view keeps played rounds, wins, losses, current and best streaks, guess distribution, and your head-to-head record with that Buddi.
Can I share a finished daily word board?
Yes. A finished result can be shared or copied as a grid of symbols without including the answer.
Are games available with every companion?
Games live inside companion chats. Which Buddis you can play with follows the same companion access available on your account.
